Vision Board Webinar Replay

Well, I am really happy to be able to, you know, present today and just guide you through this fun activity for the beginning of the year and for the Healing Touch World World Foundation. This is just one of our events. There'll be a lot more to follow, that are, you know, no cost offerings that can help you get on track for the year, that can help you enhance your practice, and just have a little bit of fun with us. So this is something I typically do every beginning of the year because it is a good excuse, if nothing else, to get focused and to get started on some ideas that we have on, setting intentions and becoming a little bit more insightful about what we're looking for throughout the year. Right?
A few logistics here. I wanna make sure that as you're, coming into this workshop, you have everything that you need. So make sure that if you're doing this on a board or a book or, you know, some kind of paper backing, you have that. You have some glue, scissors, any pictures that you've already cut out. I took a time to actually cut out quite a few things throughout the last month that spoke to me, and this is one of the ways that I do it.
And I also want to mention that you're probably not going to finish your vision board today, so don't get stressed because we don't have that much time. This is sort of like a beginning. This is, you know, using the group as a good opportunity to lay down some ideas and to get started. I find myself literally throughout the year, putting more stuff on my vision board. And I get in the habit of taking things down that have already manifested, so to speak, and putting them in a special box that I have Because I can go back to that and look at this and say, wow.
Look at all the things that have already happened because I put my attention on them. Right? We all know, at least in the energy world, that where we put our attention, that's where it goes, and that's what tends to happen in our lives. So this is an opportunity to really focus into that. Markers, glitter, anything fun, pictures, three d things.
Some people, put, like, little stickers that are, like, puffy stickers or or anything really that appeals to you and that bring the mess brings the message home. This is a creative expression on fun time. It is not something that's meant to be super regimented. Some people will choose to do it, online or on their computer by cutting and pasting. So there's many different ways that you can do this.
In fact, you will notice, you know, on the landing page that we had for this class, there is a picture of a vision board on the left. That's literally one of my older vision boards. I changed some pictures around, but this is a very clear opportunity. I used it to have it on my desktop, on my computer. Every time I sat down, it was in front of me.
Because this is one of the most powerful ways that you can make a vision board work. It is seeing it again and again and again being in front of you. And, also, you can make many vision boards. You can make some mini ones. Like, I used to have one in my bathroom because, you know, you wake up in the morning.
It's the first thing you see. What do you wanna focus on? Right? I had one in my kitchen. I had one on my computer.
So you can play around with this and get super creative, or you could just have one and get really focused. Everybody's different. There is no wrong way to go about it. Okay? So, we're gonna go and we're gonna, we're actually gonna do a step by step pretty much here.
So the preparation of materials is, you know, making sure that you have that. If you haven't had the time to gather pictures, that's okay. Use this time to leaf through magazines, listen to what everybody else says, you know, kind of connect with the group energy, and just, you know, collect what it is that you need, basically. There is a motivation behind everything that we do, and we will start with a visualization if you want to get to that place of creativity and to guide you to, you know, more specifically to where you wanna go. That's the idea behind that, the short meditation, so to speak.
And then I would love for, you know, everybody to share because this is a community sharing event, and your ideas might be enlightening to others. If you don't want to share it, that's quite alright. You can keep it private. But if you do, you're welcome to. And, we're gonna work on the clarity of goals and what we wanna set up.
We're gonna work on our motivation. Like I said, you know, daily exploration of having the vision board in front of us. And we are going to bring our focus on this year, which is, numerologically a number one year, which means it's the year of nine beginnings of new beginnings. And astrologically as well, if you guys follow that, I tend to follow that. There are a lot of planets that are falling in sync to support us with those new beginnings.
That also might mean that you might be leaving some things behind. Old relationships, things that didn't work, situations, jobs, who knows? Everybody's at a different place in their life. But, this is a great time to get clear. Okay?
So we're gonna go ahead and get into the visualization now. And I wanted to start first with a couple of breaths. Because if your day was anything like mine, we need some grounding. So find yourself in a comfortable space, and I invite you to bring your breath into your heart space, imagining that you're breathing in and out of your heart, finding that warm healing breath and breathing it in, and then exhaling from the heart. And find your own rhythm by taking a little bit longer inhales and longer exhales, give yourself the time that you need to sync with this moment, allowing the breath to come in and then course through the body and out.
And also imagining the breath running out of the feet and into the ground, helping us get centered and grounded and ready to be fully present for this experience. So you may sit and stand or rest. However it feels supportive to you, close your eyes or soften your gaze. Allow yourself to arrive fully in this moment, feet on the floor, body on the chair, the steadiness beneath you. Just simply noticing the rhythm of your breath.
Nothing to change, nothing to control. Just be with it. And take a moment to release the fast pace of the day. There's nothing to solve right now. And if it helps, picture gently setting aside even the past year, the busy moments, the unfinished pieces, even the successes and the challenges.
This moment is a pause. And now imagine the year ahead as an open landscape. You don't need details or plans. This is just here in the moment. And I want you to feel for yourself what does the year ahead feel like when you think of it, when you put your attention to it.
What are you looking to bring in? Perhaps you sense, like, color, a word, a general mood, or even an image. It might feel light, grounded. It might be expansive and creative or just plain calm. Anything that shows up is right for you.
And gently ask yourself, what would I like to invite in this year? What would I like to create space for? What supports my sense of fulfillment and well-being? Give yourself a couple of moments here to let any images, ideas, or feelings arise naturally. You're not committing.
Just exploring. Be with it. Your vision can be practical or playful, can be clear or undefined and allow yourself to be guided throughout the year. Small or even bold, all is welcome. And now quietly, let's choose one word, feeling or image, that represents how you'd like this year to feel overall.
And you know that you can return to this any moment. Bring in the energy that you need to have joy throughout the year, to guide you through all your experiences, to have calm and peace, to have creativity. What shows up for you? You might even wanna rate it down as you slowly return to the space around you, the sounds, the light, and your breath. Gently opening your eyes and jotting down one or two words just to begin with.
And we're gonna carry this word, image, or feeling with us as we begin creating this vision board. Like I said, it's not about predicting the future, but it's about giving your attention to what matters to you right now. And believe me, it will change throughout the year So you can adjust, you know, bringing your pictures, get rid of old ones. So I'm also inviting you to I don't know if you guys like music. I kinda like to get into my pictures.
But if you want music, you can just use your phone or anything else that you might have close to you, and use that energy to kinda spark the beginning. And I wanted to also share a couple of the boards that I've already made. My boards tend to be very busy. Yours might be very clean and orderly. I'm gonna try and share this.
Let's see how much the camera can catch it. Hold on. Alright. Where is it? Well, it's really hard.
Okay. Sorry. I don't know why it's so hard to I see a horse. Hold on. There is a horse.
Yes. There's a horse, and there's a lady laying by the beach. This is my favorite thing. Let me see if I can get this guy. Wow.
We did it earlier. Why is it so problematic right now? Oh, there it is. There it is. Well, so it has the word speak in it with a lot of glitter, and there's water in the background, and there's some dolphins.
And I did this during a time where I was getting ready to, give a speech and to present, and I hadn't really presented to such a large group before, and I felt like my throat was closing. So I thought, I'm gonna sit down and just do a vision board on this and see what I can come up with. Because I I was feeling choked, and I took my time, and I had some good music, and I had some glitter, and I was just creating. And at the end, where I when I finished it, I really took some time to softly gaze into it and allow words to come through and allow my throat to clear and just took the time to just energetically release whatever it was that was blocking me, the fear that was behind it, you know, the apprehension, and it was extremely helpful. So let's grab our boards, and let's get started on this picture.
But what I would love to hear, if anybody is willing to share, is what are some of the focuses or some of the words that came up for you? And, Mel, could you make sure that everybody can unmute, please? I can share. Thank you, Brenda. Go ahead.
I've been thinking about this all day, and so was it interesting that it was a different word than what I thought it would be? Adventure and, outdoors, and then I added creativity because I'd like to I'd like to continue that. I love that. Alright. And did you have some pictures already, or are you looking for some pictures?
I'm gonna do it digitally. So I've got everything I wrote. I just wrote my words down, and now I'm gonna start picking some images out. I love it. Perfect.
Thank you. Who else wants to share? Mel, you're muted. Looks like Barb wants to go next. Yep.
Okay. Go ahead, Barb. Oh, hold on. Here we go. Here we go.
Mine were next and new. What was the second one? New. New. Love it.
Right on with new beginnings. Mhmm. Yeah. Okay. And what are you doing?
Are you gluing stuff down? Are you doing it in your computer? What's your mode? My mode was I didn't have any pictures yet. So Okay.
Written down things that I want to put on my board, and so Perfect. Love it. And you can do some searches online. In fact, you know, that's that's a lot of what I've done at times as I have gotten online, and I have put in those words of focus and see what pops up and go to the images that come up. And then, you know, sometimes, doing it this way gives you also more inspiration.
So that's another way. And even for the ones of you that are doing it on paper, it's also a good idea to sometimes go online, you know, now that we have so many, you know, capabilities to find different pictures and, inspirations. This is a great time to do that. Thank you, Barb. Who else?
Melon. I have guided. You have Melody. Okay. Go ahead.
Guided. Guided. I love that. Yeah. So it was just when you were talking and it just popped in.
So I was like, I like I like that. Okay. Great. Thank you for sharing. Let's see if Ellen can there we go.
Are you able to unmute? Okay. Okay. Well, I I thought about this, beforehand, and I came up with some sort of, you know, making a difference. And I'm I'm might retire this year, so that'll be stepping forward.
And I thought this is a good thing to do. When I did, the the meditation expansion came up as a word. Right. And, and organic. So those two things came up.
Beautiful. I love that. And see, this is why we do the guided visualizations because it brings about new energy, opens us up to ideas, and to listen. Right? Just be quiet and listen for a moment.
And you might find yourself to, you know, take the time to listen further down the road too, and some things will pop up for you. So whatever it takes, everybody's different. And like I said, there's no wrong way to do this. Alright. So I have a couple of notes here on the chat as well.
And we talked about those new guided next. Anybody else as as you're already picking out Theresa? Yes. Go ahead. Oh, wait.
We gotta get you unmuted here. One second. Hold on. Okay. I'm unmuted now.
There you are. Okay. It it's interesting because, I'm really glad you're holding something like this vision board because I'm always thinking of what's my vision. And yesterday no. I guess it was Monday.
I received a card, thank you card from a very, very dear friend I've known for forty years or more. And, I had given her some, Herbology Oracle cards. And she sent me a card back, which I rarely get cards anymore. You know, everybody just just texts or emails. But the card was, took me by surprise, and it was if I there was a quote on it.
It said, if I had a flower for every time I thought of you, I'd have a forever garden. And, oh my god, that just touched me so deeply. And so I've been in this meditative mode of, well, I'm looking it up for sure. I couldn't I wanted some cards myself. I couldn't find any.
There was a plaque on Amazon, but that was it. But it's a, Alfred Lord Tennyson quote. They moved the words around a little bit, but it's like with Valentine's coming up. And I don't I'm not a person that reads a lot of poetry. But, boy, when I get something like that, it there it impacts me, and it impacts my whole days for to come.
So it's like when you to me, a vision board is seeing something like that, something that resonates so deeply that you tie into it, and it guides you to the next step. So that's that's what I have to say. Yeah. I love that. Thank you so much for sharing that.
And, Teresa, what are you planning on doing? Are you kinda cutting out pictures? Are you doing it online? What's your goal? I draw.
I mean, not a very good try, but I like to just have the the page, the, medium in front of me, and I just start in my mind putting things somewhere. And Right. You know, so that's but, definitely, with this, I'm thinking of flowers. You know, I mean, there's just Beautiful. I mean, it could be any kind of garden.
The picture that was there wasn't that great. There were some flowers, and then there were some huge chunky, garden shoes. And so it I didn't notice it. I didn't notice the flowers as much as I did the boots that were on. So, I'd probably modify that.
But at the same time, it was the the message that came across and it which could be for many people when you think of them, what does it bring up in you? And I I tell you, I I've been in this mode of what makes me happy. You know? Yes. And so there's different ways to do that.
What do I resonate with? So that's how I'm seeing my vision board coming about. Thank you for sharing that. Yes. And I I have a lot of clients who will keep a journal, and they'll almost do, like, a daily doodling, and that's part of how they vision.
You know? They kinda stay on a daily focus. So that's one thing. And you could also take your card as the energetic representative of of the joy that it brought you and just enhance that. There's many, many options.
Yeah. Love that. Thank you. Who else wants to share while we're already putting things down in our board? Anybody?
In fact, you know what? We could just keep you all, unmuted here. You can all just unmute, and you can chime in whenever you're ready because this is kind of like a collaborative effort. Everybody affects everybody else in in a good way. So anybody who wants to chime in or if you have a really nice picture to share, anything that you've cut out, or what it represents for you.
I have a lot of peaceful pictures on my board this year because, like Mel said, I have so much going on. I need some calm in my life. This is one of the ways that I can bring it in. I hear you, Beth. That's okay.
Dogs are welcome. Yeah. Sometimes we have a lot of noise in the background, and that's okay. That's why I said put your own music on if you want to. Maybe it can drown out the sounds in your background and give you some some joyful sounds.
I have some lavender ones that I found that were so pretty. And like you were saying, Teresa, I have tons of flowers. Flowers just tend to bring me a lot of joy. And I usually make, I usually, do a really big garden in the few months that we have to grow here in Colorado because it's really cold and we get, what, three months maybe. But, you know, the flowers are just something that can keep my vision going because like many of you, nature is part of my, my expansiveness.
It's part of my connectedness, my groundedness. And and this is also important in, you know, it's one thing to put something on the vision board, and it's another thing to also act on it. So it's it's a reminder. Right? Oh, where do I want to be?
I want to be outside in nature because that helps me stay grounded and centered and energetic. And and, like, I take I can take an exhale. Right? Sometimes that's important. It's just that we forget to breathe.
And this is why we started this in the very beginning with the breath to give us that pause, to give us that moment where we can take in that breath, support ourselves, and then keep going. Our nervous system is not equipped to do much if we don't give it that pause. And many of us, if not all of us, are very, very busy. Right? Every day is very busy.
So that's another thing that I invite you to look at what you're gonna put down on your vision board. What brings you that pause? Right? On the daily, really. So is it a walk in nature during lunch time, you know, or even just outside around your office, wherever you're at?
Is it a few minutes that you're gonna literally, you know, pause and not think of anything else and just breathe? Is it drinking a glass of water and feeling the water, tasting the water, noticing the water? Right? How many times do we find ourselves reaching for a glass, gulping it down, and then we didn't even realize what we did? Right?
It's automatic. So that's another thing that you want to put down. It's like being in the moment, mindfulness is big for having full days in the sense of what you've when you feel supported. Not full days in busyness, but full days and moments that can nourish you. Right?
So that's, that's something that you can also look for in your pictures when you're picking them. I have some there wasn't a magazine, custom outdoor living spaces, and I have this beautiful made area where they have, a fire in the middle and then some bricks against some beautiful flowers. You know? Another opportunity for some quiet time in my mind. I could just stare at this and be somewhere else.
And, you know, do you know that the brain doesn't know the difference between reality and visualization? It's phenomenal, isn't it? So we can guide ourselves to that place where we wanna go simply by looking at our vision board. But not just glancing at it. Oh, yeah.
That's my vision board. I gotta go. Take the time in the morning to be with it. Right? Why did you put those pictures down?
Why did you write those words down? What do they mean to you? You know, this is an invitation to get started on something that really supports you for the year, to be mindful on the things that nourish you, the people that support you, the way that you want to be internally, externally, the way that you want to show up in the world. Right? Instead of the go go go that it's been and the fear that has been in the collective consciousness, the anxiety.
There's always gonna be craziness out there. Right? We can't avoid that, but we can definitely work on our centeredness and our resilience. That's where the difference is made in each and every one of us. And I'm so big on self care.
You know, Mel just read off all this amazing stuff that I've been busy with. But, really, what is it about? It's about wellness. It's about self care. Because we have been taught in in many ways that, you know, self care is selfish, and it's not.
It starts with us. Because if we feel good, we send out that same reverberation of energy that is all about love and compassion and care. Right? If we feel like we have the energy that we need to have to put, attention to our relationships, then those will thrive. If we are having too much stress in our lives and we don't have a moment to pause, my relationships will suffer too, and primarily the relationship with ourselves.
Right? So these are all things to consider as you're creating, as you're bringing together all those thoughts. And remember, this is really this is an opening to your creative space. Keep it going. Keep it rolling.
Pay attention to the clues that come your way. Be with it. Experience it. You know? Let it be your guide.
Does anybody have any questions while we're at it? No questions? Okay. Nancy, what are you doing? Are you putting down pictures?
Are you being are you on the computer? How are you putting it together? I am looking at my magazines and pulling out stuff, mostly recipes. Yes. I can't I can't look at a magazine without pulling out a recipe.
So what came to me earlier during the meditation is, is to play more, to create space and, breathe, feel joy. I just I need to create more of that. Like you say, it's a lot of go, go, go. And, I haven't found the pictures for that yet, but I really also like what you talked about is creating smaller ones and having something in your bathroom. And these in different boards.
So I'm really happy for this, little short webinar to inspire us. Yeah. So thanks. Thank you for sharing. I love that.
I know what you were talking about, joy, and I actually have a pair of cowboy boots that I cut out with some turquoise designs on them, and I'm like, I need to dance more. I need to get out there and just dance more and move and have fun with it. Right? So, yep, right there with you. I'm coming to Colorado.
Thank you. Yes. Alright. Who else has something to share? Martha.
Yes. Nothing to share. Nothing to share? I just got into doing the work. What what would be your focus your word of focus, you think?
Just patience. Patience. Great one. Yeah. Patience.
Love that. Yes. And is it patience on your part? Is it asking for patience from other people? No.
Patience on my part. Understood. Okay. Yeah. Patience on my part.
Then I can get patience from other people. Yeah. Very nice. I love it. Yes.
Excellent point. Okay. Well, thank you for sharing. Oh, you're welcome. Thank you for asking.
Mhmm. Okay. Beth, did you have something to share? Yeah. Now that the critters are settled a little, my word came up as empowered, but it was interesting guided with kind of a subword in there as well that someone else mentioned.
Last year, I tried to make my my chosen word without meditating was supposed to be strength, and I need to be physically stronger and more disciplined and empowering myself. But, but I retired this past last year as well. So Great. I feel like I need to take charge of my path forward. So empowered is probably a good way to go.
That's a great word. Yeah. And I think, David Go ahead. I'm sorry. Go ahead.
I was just gonna say real quick. Isn't it funny sometimes we wait to be retired to notice what we actually want. Right? Yes. Yes.
Well, I was spent forty two years in the printing industry. It was far far from, energetic alignment. So or in the healing world. But I did a vision board, oh, five, six years ago, and I think I'm gonna steal a lot from it because a lot of it still applies. Just not that part about working for the Cleveland Clinic and the how much money I wanna make.
I don't care anymore. For sharing. Beautiful. Alright. We're actually already almost at the close.
So who else might have a comment? The the words that I that came to me were clear, clean, and space. So that might mean I need to do some decluttering and, and clearing my space. But I there's also things like travel that I wanna do. And, yeah.
So I'm I am looking through magazines for the pictures. Beautiful. Yes. But I might check out the Internet as well. Yeah.
Yeah. And isn't it interesting that, you know, words might mean different things to different people. Right? Mhmm. So take the time to really sit with the word, and and there might be several things that it means to you as well.
Because some things might be in our personal life, some things might be in our professional life. There's there's so much gold there when we go within, and that's why it's important to take the time to to give yourself the time. One, because you deserve it. Right? To listen.
Just listen. What's coming to you? Right? And two, because life should be joyful. Right?
And we can take the time to add some joy to our everyday even when life is hard, even when life is busy. You know, we're gonna go through spells where it seems exhausting and overwhelming, and this is our call to pause again. Right? Pause. Breathe.
Be creative because creativity gives us energy. Yeah. Thank you for sharing that, Donna. That's great. Alright.
Anybody else? Yes, Nancy. Just wanted to say that we had somebody new join us, just a a couple of minutes ago, Sheila. So, Sheila, we would like to let you know that this is going to be available on replay, to get the little tips. But, I just wanted to make sure you knew Corinna.
Thank you. There was something on the chat about, digital, any tips for digital Mhmm. Boards. I'm not sure if you had something. So, there are many ways.
In fact, if you just do a search as far as doing digitally, Canva has one. That's where I created mine. So Canva is a great place to put together pictures. It's a free, program, so you could definitely tap into that. But if you do a search, there's many different ways to do that, And it can be just as simple as finding pictures online by doing your own search and then bringing them into a Word document, doing your own collage, and then printing it out or even saving it as a PDF or a PNG or a JPEG, putting it on your screen.
A lot of people love to put it on their phone so that every time you unlock your phone, it's right there. It kinda subconsciously shows up. So thank you for asking that question. I think that's a great question. So, yeah, there's many different ways.
And, also, Sheila, I know we're almost done, but I wondered, if by any chance you had some input, if you came in with some input. You know, is there anything that you want to share? Is she still here? Did she fall off? I think she jumped back off.
I don't see. Oh, well. Okay. Alright. Sounds good.
So, I'll Do you wanna you wanna share about your color coloring your column? Yes. Thank you. I will do that. So for anybody who has, you know, attended the class today and who will be attending, the recording, I have a special that I'm offering.
If I could just scroll to it because it keeps passing it. On your in the chat, you can copy and paste that or follow the link. There is one of my classes that is offered at a deep discount as a bonus for today. It's called color your calm, and it is a class on color therapy. We forget how important color is in our lives.
And in fact, there's a different frequency that comes in through our eyes when we're looking at different colors, different shades, different hues. And every color elicits a certain, feeling and a certain vibration. So, in healing touch, for example, very similarly to following the chakra system. Right? Every color represents something.
This is a way to kinda use color in your everyday life to bring in calm, to find joy, to, find different ways really that you can use color in your life. And it can be as simple as literally having a sticky note in your pocket. I used to do that with my clients a lot. I'd say, okay. I have an array of sticky notes.
You know, at the end of the session, I would say, I think this is your color today. Or they would, you know, kinda wake up from the session and say, oh, I could just see all purple. And I would take a sticky note, and I would give it to them, and they would write a word to focus on it and literally put it in their pocket. And they would keep that in their pocket every day. And they would focus on it because when they would put their hand in their pocket, they'd be like, oh, what is this?
Oh, yes. My sticky note. They would take it out. They would look at it. You receive that frequency and that vibration, and you look at your word.
Right? It's like a teeny tiny little mini vision board. A great opportunity to bring color into your life. So if you're interested, follow that link. That's available only through this class.
And, I hope you really enjoy it. And does anybody have any questions before we close for the session? Looks like we're good. Well, thank you all for taking the time to show up today to work with us, you know, in this opportunity as a as where's the link? Barb says where's the it's in the chat, Barb, in the very top if you don't see it.
Can you guys see it? No? Oh, no. Interesting. Okay.
I will put it I can see it. You have to scroll up. Yeah. It's all the way to the top. Yeah.
I don't see it either. So I see it. Anybody else missing it? I see it. It's a second it's a second message.
Thank you for attending our 2026 vision board. I'll put it on again. Tell me your call. I think it might be when you when you came into the meeting. We don't have the first one.
Let me paste it again. Thank you for letting me know. Here you go. Now you guys seeing it? Yay.
Okay. Thank you for that. Perfect. Yep. Alright.
So, yeah, take your time to, copy that down real quick or follow the link and open that page so you can save it. But, otherwise, thank you so much for taking this time. This was also my, you know, my push to get this started because I've been putting it off and putting it off. I've been cutting a lot of pictures. So now I'm gonna also have to weed through them and decide which ones I'm gonna keep because my board is only that big.
But you can always start a second board. Right? So thank you for taking the time. You can always come back and watch the recording. Right, Nancy?
Correct. Yes. And we'd like to thank you, Corina, very much for your enthusiasm and sharing your expertise. It was fun. Of course.
Thank you so much, guys. Take care. Have a lovely evening or break or morning wherever you're at. Mhmm. See you soon.
Bye. Thank you. Bye. Thank you.
